I started building Clonebox over a year ago — frustrated by the same problems every DJ knows. Which USB is current? Did my cue points make it to the backup? Is anything corrupted?
Rekordbox is great at what it does. But the USB management layer — backup, sync, verification — was completely missing. I couldn't find anything that solved it properly, so I built it myself.

After the export, you're on your own. Multiple drives that drift out of sync. No way to know which backup is current. Files that look fine on your laptop but freeze a CDJ. And the only fix Rekordbox offers is a full re-export — 45 minutes for a problem that should take 10 seconds.
Rekordbox copies files and moves on. It never checks whether the copy matches the original. A single corrupted byte goes undetected until it freezes your CDJ mid-set.
You prepped tracks on the CDJ. Updated cues, ratings, a few loops. To sync those changes to your backup, Rekordbox wants to re-export everything. Every time.
One USB is zero backups. If your main stick dies the night before a gig and the backup hasn't been touched in two weeks, you're playing with fire.

Hash-based duplicate detection finds the exact same track stored twice — even with different filenames. Shows both copies, you decide which to delete.
